I studied Spanish at Wiracocha Spanish School a long time ago (back in 2010!), and it remains one of the best experiences of my life. Everything was perfect—learning, the people, Cusco, and even the accommodation. If you’re considering joining the school, don’t hesitate—I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. P.S. I was reminiscing about this experience today and found the school here on Google Maps. It’s great to see it still thriving with lots of happy students! Learning was fun, including a lot of conversation and fun games. The teachers are absolutely great, both professional and friendly, Carina, Koen and Melissa did their best to make me feel welcome and made sure my course was efficient. The school is located very close to the Plazoleta of San Blas, it has a lot of study rooms and offers both private and group classes (in my group classes the maximum number of students were 3 myself included). It has a kitchen were students and teachers can make a cup of tea or coffee, and every week there are planned activities (dinner, salsa dancing, sports, trekking, fruit tasting, shaman ceremonies etc), which bond everybody together and offer a more direct aspect to learning more about the culture of Perú, instead of just learning the language. Dear friends who are interested in Spanish, I want to tell you about my experience of learning Spanish at Wiracocha Spanish school, Cuzco, Peru. I studied for 4 weeks, and this is a great school, I had wonderful teachers Andrea and Karmien. Senora Silvia is a very good person who helped me in many ways. Excellent location of the school in the city center. Nearby are all possible cafes for lunch. At school you can drink tea and coffee and Coca mate. The school is always ready to help or give advice. The weather in Cusco in April-May is wonderful, very comfortable, a lot of sun and cool, but this allows you to buy a wonderful sweater from Alpaca. It is very important that at this school I met a wonderful person, we studied and spent a lot of time together and he occupies a huge place in my heart. If you want to learn Spanish, meet new friends, get to know the culture and see a lot of ancient architecture you need to go to this school.Load more

She was sick one day and another instructor took over for her. He also had a great teaching style and was very helpful. The school was easy to communicate with via email and phone. Conveniently located in San Blas. Free salsa lesson one day which was fun. Weekly dinner with instructor and students from the school was also nice. I plan to take online lessons with Wiracocha now that I’m back home. Highly recommended!Geverifieerd Great Classes/Teachers, additional Program and fantastic homestay! I did one week of intense classes at Wiracocha and it really helped much to improve my language knowledges! The teachers and administrators do great work and we had lots of fun too! Besides the classes they organise a dinner every Wednesday evening with all the students, there is a Salsa class on Thursday and every Friday they prepare a little something around 1 p.m. This friday we learned how to make a Pisco Maracuja for example. They will even help you book tours around Cusco and I also had a really great homestay at Magaly's <3 And they also have a nice courtyard where you can enjoy the sun and talk to other students in the breaks. I really felt comfortable and happy to be here! I will definetly choose Wiracocha again, if coming back to Peru and Cusco!Thank you so much for everthing guys :-)Geverifieerd Excellent Spanish school Very well ran Spanish school. My 9 year old learned some great Spanish at this school, not just through the traditional teaching methods but also through interactive methods. My son loves soccer and Eriksson and Indira took the time to learn this about him and incorporated teaching him Spanish while doing soccer drills. Indira was fantastic and went out of her way to personally take my son to the market so he could practice his Spanish with the locals. Along the way, she took some fabulous pictures and took the time to share them with me.Meer laden
