Children with Special Needs

In this program, there are around 40 people among children and young people with special abilities who need help. They do not have a home or a family. In this place the people who work provide a home, food and specific care to each of them. The work of volunteers in this program is very helpful for them. Being people with special abilities, they need more people who can help in their care.

The work that the volunteer does in this type of volunteer program is to help with the preparation of food, feeding the children, helping with cleaning, playing and taking care of the children.

If you like to help children, this project will be perfect for you, helping and taking care of them will make you feel good. It is recommended to have a basic to intermediate level of Spanish in order to communicate with the children and the people who work here. Combining the volunteer program with the Spanish lessons program will be a perfect combination to have a good time and help in Cusco.

Requirements for volunteer work with children with special needs

Period of time: at least 2 weeks
Basic – Intermediate level of Spanish
